Jen and Mark's wedding celebration at Pontlands Park Hotel, Essex

It’s great to hear couples doing something a bit different, like Jen & Mark getting married in Hawaii. So when we were asked to capture their wedding celebration at Pontlands Park Hotel, Chelmsford, Essex, we were of course delighted.

They kicked off their celebration with drinks in the beautiful hotel gardens. Jen & Mark had their family group photos outside before taking some time to have some relaxed portraits of them together by the pond and bridge - making sure to make the most of the hotel grounds.

While the guests headed towards the marquee for a BBQ, Peter took some time to capture all the little details - the cupcakes instead of a traditional wedding cake, the now traditional sweet bar, and the giant illuminated Aloha lighting up the dance floor - which made a superb backdrop for guitarist Adam Dufill who kept everyone entertained while the guests enjoyed their food.

With the lights dimmed and the first dance officially kicking off the evening party, there was only one thing left to do - dance! And of course, Peter was in the thick of it.
