We are a husband and wife team with over 16 years of professional experience in photographing weddings, events and parties.

From weddings and formal events to family celebrations and office parties, we’ll capture all the atmosphere and emotion of your special occasion - telling a story through natural and beautiful images.

We are always professional and considerate, unobtrusive and discreet yet at the same time in the middle of the action - in the right place at the right time. Carruthers and Hobbs Photography began shooting weddings and events way back in 2007. Since then we've been telling wedding stories and capturing the party atmosphere through our stylish, natural and emotive images for people getting married and celebrating in Essex and beyond.

You have the option with all of our wedding packages to include your photos in a handmade, storybook album. The images are printed directly onto the page itself allowing us to create personalised layouts that tell the story of your wedding. Different cover styles are available in a variety of colours and finishes so that your album can match the colour scheme and style of your wedding.
